Veganloppet (vegan race) 12k

The wonderful setting of the race

Saturday was the debute race for me this season. The first ever Vegan race, in Sweden. They offered 12,6 and 3k and I opted for 12 of course. What they failed to inform was that it indeed was a trail run and with the heat I felt like dying several times. The organisation was lovely but the lack of signs left us in doubt more than ones. On the good note however was that I was forced to actually talk to other people. At one point I actually came to a full stop, waiting for someone telling me what direction I should take… But all in all it was a good experience and the next time I will bring my own water!
